What do our Pupils think about Prince's Mead ?

Just recently we engaged in some market research with the children in Years 5 and 6 to try to find out exactly what they thought about their school. One of our parents ran the session so there was no opportunity for teacher intervention.

The children felt five words summed up their feelings for the school and these were:-

Fun – Friends – Education – Lessons – Old Building

They were then asked to write key phrases relating to what they felt about their school. No one wrote anything negative and here is a selection:-

  • Prince’s Mead is a peaceful school which teaches you in many different ways
  • A lovely building with a good strong heart
  • Prince’s Mead is a fun community to learn and make friends in, where everyone is welcome
  • An old house turned into a brilliant school
  • A large building full of children having fun
  • It’s a great school with loads of nice people including the teachers!
  • This school has a historic feeling and is educational, with fun and happiness
  • Prince’s Mead is a fun school with lots of intelligent pupils
  • It is a school and it is an old building and I feel so safe. It is a beautiful place
  • It’s the best thing in the world and it’s really friendly
