Mr Welch joined the Board of Governors in September 2008 and became Chairman in 2010.
He is a Corporate Treasurer, Accountant and Chartered Secretary. He is a Governor of Peter Symonds’ College, having been Chairman between 1996 and 2000. Brian is married to Sally, they have been associated with Prince’s Mead for many years, primarily as parents when their two daughters attended the school.
Mrs Renwick joined the Board of Governors in October 2014.
Mrs Renwick has worked in the insurance broking sector in London for the last 25 years holding a variety of roles, both client-centric and internal. She is currently focused on operational and change programme leadership, as well as having an involvement in her company’s graduate and diveristy programmes.
Mel is married to Arnold, and they have two daughters – both of whom attended Prince’s Mead School. The Renwick family have been attending and involved in the school for just under ten years, with Mel serving on the Prince’s Mead Association throughout this time, and latterly leading the Prince’s Mead Association as Chair.
Mr McMillan joined the Board of Governors in October 2011.
Mr McMillan is a retired banker with a wide-ranging career working in the UK, Europe and the Americas. His City of London connections include the Association of Corporate Treasurers, the Worshipful Company of Fletchers and is linked with a number of schools in the Mercers’ cluster through the Guild of Mercers’ Scholars. In addition, he is a Governor of the City of London Freemen’s School in Surrey
A widower, whose wife worked in the education sector, he has two sons who, when he joined the board. were both at University but with two Masters degrees each are now working in London.
Mrs Annesley joined the Board of Governors in January 2013.
Mrs Annesley recently sold her property business in Surrey and Berkshire and now acts as a Consultant for a national estate agency and runs her own property portfolio. She in involved with Canford School in Dorset and sits on Sparsholt Parish Council, Friends of St Stephen’s Church Committees and various other local committees. She lives in Sparsholt with her husband who is an Architect and has two children who both attended Prince’s Mead before going on to public schools and universities.
Mrs Hauser joined the Board of Governors in January 2013.
A member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, she runs a property development and management company in Hampshire. She is property director of Winchester Churches Housing Association.
Mrs Hauser lives in Winchester with her husband who is also an Architect. Their three boys all attended Prince’s Mead School.
Mrs Tice joined the Board of Governors in March 2015.
Mrs Sarah Tice gave up her career in Public Relations to raise her four daughters, all of whom thrived at Prince’s Mead School. She has over the years, been actively involved at the schools her girls have attended, including teaching Netball and Rounders club at Prince’s Mead and chairing the Parent Teachers Association at senior school level.
Mrs Tice is happily married to William, a busy knee surgeon.
Mrs Tice is Governor responsible for Safeguarding and the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Mrs Dryden joined the Board of Governors in October 2015.
Mrs Susie Dryden is a partner at Blake Morgan Solicitors in Southampton where she heads the commercial litigation team and is recognised as a leader in her field. She lives in Winchester and is married with two children, both of whom went to and thrived at Prince’s Mead.
Mr Pattisson joined the Board of Governors in June 2016.
Mr Pattisson has been a Fund Manager for his whole career, having started work in London in 1986. In 2010 he set up Ardevora Asset Management LLP, an asset management business which manages UK and global equities for a range of institutional investors.
Mr Pattisson lives in Winchester with his wife, Francheska. Their three daughters were all at Prince’s Mead.
Mr Kelly joined the Board of Governors in December 2016.
A former Naval Officer, Martin Kelly is a Chartered Secretary and has worked for the past 15 years in a variety of posts involving finance and corporate governance. Semi-retired he carries out consultancy on school governance and compliance. He is a Trustee of the Lighthouse Learning Trust (a sixth form college MAT). He is also a Governor of Richard Taunton Sixth Form College, Southampton and a Trustee of the Southampton Sea Cadet Corps.
He lives in Southampton; his wife is a Senior Teaching Fellow at Southampton University and they have two adult children, both of whom attended King Edward VI. His interests include sailing, naval history, art and music.
Mrs Sheppard joined the Board of Governors in December 2016.
Mrs Sheppard has taught Chemistry at King Edward VI School for over twenty years. In that time she has been Head of the First Year, Head of the Lower School and is now Assistant Head (Registrar).
Mrs Sheppard is married to Paul who is Head of Economics at King Edward VI School. They have three young children who attend Highfield Primary School where Mrs Sheppard is a Parent Governor.
Mr Sibson joined the Board of Governors in July 2018.
Mr Sibson has been Headmaster of St Francis School in Wiltshire since 2012, before which he was Headmaster of a prep school in Nottinghamshire. Throughout his career since graduating from Durham University, he has always worked in co-educational prep schools. Mr Sibson’s specialist subjects are English and Drama, although he also enjoys teaching Latin in his current school.
Roles in education outside his own school include being a long-serving Team Inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate and being a member of the IAPS Council and a Director of IAPS for the past three years.
Mr Sibson, who lives in the Vale of Pewsey, is married to Claire and they have a son and a daughter who are both at university.
