Open Afternoon

“My husband and I attended the Open Day on Friday Afternoon and were very impressed by the school and more importantly the pupils. The pupils were a testament to the values and ethos of your prospectus and far exceeded our expectations. The school and parents must be very proud of these young people.” A New Parent 2018

Summer Term 2019 –  Friday 17th May 2019, 1.30pm – 4.00pm

Our Open Afternoon is an informal event and you are welcome to bring your children with you. You will be given a tour of the school by our older pupils and have the opportunity to experience a our school in action. We look forward to welcoming you to our School.

Prince’s Mead offers:

  • Co-educational aged 4-11.
  • Great family appeal; weekends are your own so you can spend time with your family. There
  • A unique and free bus service covering Winchester and the surrounding areas (inc in fees)
  • Financial assistance available from Year 3
  • We prepare our pupils for the Senior Schools that are the most appropriate for them at the age of 11+. This is achieved through strong partnerships developed between children, teachers and families.
  • Our education prepares pupils for tomorrow’s world, where they have to be innovative, creative, articulate and confident. By ensuring they feel nurtured and valued they are prepared for what lies ahead in an ever changing world

Liz Kavanagh from Winchester Magazine visited our Open Afternoon in October 2018, she wrote about her tour experience in the Winter 2018 edition of Winchester Magazine.

“Thank you for arranging our visit. We both came away having fallen in love with Prince’s Mead. Our expectations were high just from reading the prospectus and ISI report, but to actually see the children in class, and to experience the atmosphere in school was wonderful.” New Parents 2017
