It was very special to celebrate so many achievements at our Speech Day last week and our final assembly this morning where we also formally marked the end of Year 6’s time at Prince’s Mead. We are very sorry to bid farewell to them and wish them every success as they take their next step on their academic journey, and take hold of all the exciting opportunities that these adventures will bring.
It only seems like yesterday that I walked through the door as the school’s first Headmaster back in September and it hardly seems possible that we are at the end of another academic year. Seeing our pupils thrive in so many areas over the course of the year has brought us all great happiness; with some outstanding academic achievements, a number of unbeaten sports teams, some extraordinary performances on the stage such as Mary Poppins just this week, thousands of pounds raised by our wonderful PMA, the most amazing trips and residentials, and so much more. Such achievements are testimony to the remarkable talent and passion of every one of our pupils here, and the dedication and commitment of the staff in support of them.
Thank you to you as parents for your tremendous support of Prince’s Mead over the past year. It has been a fantastic year for the school and I know that we will continue to build on this success next year. I wish you all a very happy summer holiday.
