The U11 A and B teams have enjoyed an exceptional few weeks on the netball court, achieving a clean sweep at both the Churcher’s Junior School Netball Tournament and the Oakwood School Netball Tournament.

At Churcher’s on Wednesday 15th October 2025, eight schools competed in an afternoon of determined and spirited play. Across seven matches, our teams grew in confidence, demonstrating superb straight-line netball as the ball travelled smoothly from defence to attack. Our shooters showed excellent awareness and composure, scoring several brilliant goals, while our defenders impressed with their hunger for the ball, turning interceptions into attacking opportunities with real skill. Prince’s Mead finished the day securing first place in both the A and B leagues — a tremendous achievement matched only by the humility and support the girls showed for each other throughout.
Just a few weeks later, on Thursday 6th November 2025, the momentum continued at the Oakwood Netball Tournament, where our Year 6 players once again claimed first place in both competitions. Their versatility shone through as they adapted confidently to different positions, maintained focus in every game, and cheered each other on with unwavering enthusiasm. Their sportsmanship was widely praised, as they celebrated respectfully on court and saved their joyful cheers for the journey home.
These back-to-back victories reflect not just strong technical skill, but the teamwork, determination, and positive spirit that define sport at Prince’s Mead. We are incredibly proud of every player for their attitude, dedication, and humility in success. What an outstanding achievement.
