Prince’s Mead school in Winchester proudly presented a cheque for £6,968.52 to the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) this morning. The total marks an exceptional year of fundraising in support of the life-saving service HIOWAA provides across the region.

We are celebrating after raising an impressive £1,644.53 for Alfie’s Wish, the charity chosen by pupils as the school’s Charity of the Year in 2025.

We are delighted to announce the successful planting of our new school orchard – a project made possible through the enthusiasm, generosity and support of our parent community.

This December, the Prince’s Mead School community has been busy spreading festive cheer across Winchester, with pupils and families giving their time, talents, and generosity to support others during the Christmas season.

In the lead-up to Remembrance Day, pupils, families and staff came together to purchase poppy merchandise, helping us raise an impressive £373.96.

Prince’s Mead is delighted to announce the appointment of Michael Walsh as the new Chair of the Prince’s Mead Association (PMA). A familiar face within the school community, Michael brings both professional expertise and a deep personal connection to the role.

Prince’s Mead are celebrating the incredible achievement of the Prince’s Mead Larks, a team of courageous dads from our school community who completed the Ride of Champions on Father’s Day, raising an amazing £3,750 for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA).

The Prince’s Mead community has once again demonstrated its commitment to fundraising by raising an incredible £3,700 for the Rainforest Trust’s ‘Save the Pantanal’ project.
