Prince's Mead Cross Country

Pupils from Prince's Mead enjoyed a highly successful morning of cross-country running at the KES Prep Cross Country Races.

Taking place on a beautiful autumn morning, the event brought together children from Years 3 to 6, who competed with enthusiasm, determination and excellent sportsmanship throughout the races.

Our runners produced a number of outstanding performances, with Prince's Mead pupils achieving several podium finishes across the different age groups. From the very first race to the final event of the morning, pupils demonstrated resilience, perseverance and a positive attitude, representing the school brilliantly.

Prince's Mead Cross Country

Cross-country running requires both physical and mental strength, and every child who took part should be incredibly proud of their achievement. Whether competing for a top finish or challenging themselves to complete the course, all runners approached the event with commitment and courage.

Events such as these provide valuable opportunities for pupils to develop confidence, build resilience and experience the rewards that come from hard work and determination. It was wonderful to see so many children supporting one another and celebrating each other's successes throughout the morning.

We would also like to thank the parents who came along to cheer on the runners. Their encouragement helped create a fantastic atmosphere and was greatly appreciated by all involved.

A special thank you goes to the KES Prep staff for organising and delivering such a well-run event. Their hard work ensured an enjoyable and memorable experience for every participant.

Congratulations to all of our runners on an excellent morning of cross-country competition and for representing Prince's Mead with such pride. We look forward to seeing their continued progress throughout the year.
