Headmaster’s Notes: Creating our own sunshine

18th June 21

Prince’s Mead is an extraordinary community, and over this year we have been reminded on many occasions how supportive and understanding parents have been with the school running under slightly different conditions. It was therefore a genuine pleasure to speak with our Class Representatives this week where we welcomed feedback from you all.

It was also a great pleasure to welcome our home supporters once again for another busy week of fixtures and where the rain held off, just! I wish the same could be said for this afternoon’s PMA Golf Day or Year 4’s visit to Lepe Beach, but at Prince’s Mead we don’t let the rain dampen spirits! Thank you to all of the PMA who work so tirelessly to put on such superb events.  We are so fortunate to have an incredible team of parents who give up so much of their time for the benefit of pupils, parents and staff, while at the same time raising money for some very worthy causes.

Looking at the forecast for the next few days, it may well be that we need to endure a few more spots of rain; there are also certainly many brighter things to look forward to over in our remaining few weeks, where we anticipate beautiful clear blue skies for our Sports Day and Speech Day that are just around the corner. Please look out for full details in your inboxes on the run up to each of these events.

I do hope that you have a happy weekend.
