The Extended Day (also referred to as wraparound care) is very flexible at Prince’s Mead. School can start at 7.30am until 5.10pm every day should you need it. This includes Breakfast Club all the way through to After School Club. The last bus is at 5.10pm. All extended day activities must be booked in advance through the online booking system. Breakfast Club runs from 7.30am in the Dining Hall and is served between 7.30am-7.45am only. Pupils who have attended Breakfast Club will be escorted to the Mirror Room at 8am for supervision.

Children not attending Breakfast Club may arrive from 8am and will be supervised in the Mirror Room by a member of staff.
All of our after-school clubs run from 4.10pm until 5.10pm.
Prep (Homework) is for Year 2 pupils (from the Summer Term) and all other pupils up to Year 6. This is an opportunity for pupils to complete their homework tasks within a quiet environment.
Tea Time Club is for pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 (up to Summer Term). Pupils will receive a snack tea and they will participate in creative play and quiet time.
Puffins is an after-school club for children aged 4-8 (Reception to Year 3) and will provide expert childcare from 4.10pm to 6pm Monday to Friday. Run by ex-Great Ormond Street Nurse and an ex-parent, Mrs Pen Wilson will be providing a cosy, calm and safe childcare with High Tea in the dining hall so that when parents collect them, they will be ready for their bath, book and bed.
Mrs Wilson is excited about her new role “I want every child to come to Puffins safe in the knowledge that they can relax and curl up after a fun day and enjoy everything from cosy corners for chatting, reading, playing to relaxing outside in the sunshine before enjoying a delicious high tea with friends”.
