The IAPS Regional Netball Tournament was an exciting and competitive event, with 15 schools from across the South East of England coming together to showcase their skills and teamwork. Our squad put in an outstanding performance throughout the day, demonstrating great determination, resilience, and sportsmanship.
From the first whistle, the team played with energy and focus, executing impressive attacking plays and strong defensive strategies. Each match tested their skills, but they showed fantastic teamwork and commitment, supporting each other both on and off the court. Their hard work in training was evident in their quick passing, accurate shooting, and well-organized defence.
One of the highlights of the day was the incredible support from the sidelines. Parents, teachers, and teammates cheered on the squad, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere that motivated the girls to keep pushing forward. Their determination never wavered, even in the toughest matches, and they fought hard to secure a place in the semi-finals.
After a closely contested semi-final, the team went on to win the bronze medal, a fantastic achievement in such a high-standard competition. Every player contributed to this success, and their perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship were a credit to the school.
Mrs. Little and Mrs. Austin were incredibly proud of the entire squad, not only for their performances on the court but also for their attitude and support for one another. The girls demonstrated exactly what it means to be part of a team, showing kindness, encouragement, and respect for their opponents.
This tournament was a true reflection of their dedication and commitment to training, and the bronze medal was a well-deserved reward for all their hard work. Well done to all the players for an incredible day of netball!
