Headmaster’s Notes: A Sporting Chance

Our Sports Day today was a tremendous opportunity for pupils, parents and staff to share in the joys of being together as a community and enjoy the spectacle of healthy competition, accompanied by Pimms and well-stocked picnic hampers too. It was certainly a very happy occasion with much support and encouragement for fellow team mates and personal bests achieved, but also everybody pulling together in a common goal in contributing to a magnificent event in our school calendar. My thanks must go to our outstanding Games Department for their leadership today, and championing sport and inclusion in the way they do best.Our playing fields take on a different feel this weekend and I very much look forward to seeing many of you for our PMA camp out, and toasting many a marshmallow around the fire with your children. Thank you to the PMA and all our volunteers for their incredible hard work and dedication in preparation for tomorrow.
