Headmaster’s Notes: Records are made to be broken

25th June 21

Our Sports Day today, a far more significant event in the sporting calendar than the Euros, was a fine example of teamwork and inter house rivalry where pupils, parents and staff shared in the joys of being together as a community. It was certainly a very happy occasion with much support and encouragement for fellow teammates and personal bests achieved, but most importantly everybody pulling together under tight restrictions in a common goal in contributing to a magnificent event for our children. The support for every single competitor in every single event was most humbling to witness and today’s gathering reflected the Prince’s Mead spirit in all its glory. It was such a pleasure to witness so much support from our spectator boxes, and some mightily impressive picnics too!

Wishing you all a most relaxing weekend, as your children soothe their tired muscles!
