We Welcome New Chair to the Prince’s Mead Association

29th September 23

Prince’s Mead is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Cousins as the new Chair of the Prince’s Mead Association (PMA). Chris brings a wealth of experience, dedication and passion to the role, and the school community is excited to welcome him into this important position.

With three children at Prince’s Mead, one in Year 5 and two just started in Reception, Chris is ideally poised to lead the PMA and continue to foster strong connections between parents, teachers, and staff.

Chris expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, saying:

“I am honoured to have the opportunity to serve as the Chair of the Prince’s Mead Association. It is a privilege to work alongside such a dedicated and engaged community of parents, teachers, and staff. Together, we will continue to enhance the educational experience for our children and strengthen the bonds within our school family. I’d also like to take the opportunity to thank Elly Motherwell, the outgoing PMA Chair for all her hard work and passion that has seen the PMA community grow and thrive”

Head at Prince’s Mead, Adam King, praised Chris’s appointment, stating:

“Chris’s commitment to our school and his passion for fostering a sense of community aligns perfectly with our school’s purpose to enable every child to flourish in a stimulating and nurturing environment. We have no doubt that his leadership will inspire and empower our PMA to continue making a positive impact on our pupils’ lives and the lives of those in our community.”

As Chair of the PMA, Chris and his Committee will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various initiatives and events that enhance the school experience for both pupils and their families. Alongside the termly mufti days and cake sales, flagship events throughout the year include the Annual Fireworks, Christmas Tree and Christmas Jumper sale, Quiz Night, Easter Egg Hunt, Colour Run, Golf Day, and Summer Fete and Camp Out.

If you’re a current Prince’s Mead parent and would like to get involved by volunteering your time for the PMA then please contact Chris at pma@princesmeadschool.org.uk.
